Return Policy

Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of purchase. We encourage you to be mindful that many items cannot be reused or resold after they have been worn.

Do not contact the vendor on your packing slip, you must contact Adaptive Direct.

Compression Wear 

To ensure that your compression garments are eligible for return, we suggest taking special care when trying on your garments for fit. It is recommended that garments are tried on after showering and before putting on deodorant, lotions, makeup, etc. Please ensure you do not have any perfume, deodorant, wounds, or open areas on your skin. We cannot make refunds or exchanges for garments that have been soiled, altered, washed, worn, or damaged. Garments that emit smoke, perfume, perspiration, lotions, food, laundry detergent, etc., or exhibit traces of pet or human hair or skin, deodorant marks, or other residues will not be eligible for return.

Prosthetic Liners, Sleeves, and Socks

To ensure that your prosthetic liners or sleeves are eligible for return or exchange, we suggest taking special care when ordering and trying your items on. Once the packaging for prosthetic socks has been opened, the items are ineligible for return.
It is important to remember that your prosthetic socket is designed and manufactured for a specific liner size and profile. When purchasing prosthetic liners, you should order either the same liner you currently have to ensure that you do not create fit issues for your prosthesis. If you are unsure of your liner style, size, or profile, we recommend contacting your prosthetist for advice. If you are unable to contact your prosthetist, you can email us at [email protected] for further assistance.

30 days 

Return requests for all items must be submitted within 30 days of the original order.

RMA 

A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be provided before returning items. You can obtain an RMA by contacting us at [email protected]. Please note the issuing of an RMA does not guarantee return eligibility and that all returned items will go through an evaluation process to determine if they are in a resalable condition.

Restocking Fees

All returns are subject to a 15-30% restocking fee. Restocking fees are dependent on the supplier’s policies. 

Resalable condition

Products must be in a new, resalable condition, with tags and original packaging. Any product showing signs of damage, wear, alterations or that emits any odor will not be eligible for return. This includes runs, tears, holes, and/or rips.

Shipping Fees

All shipping fees are non-refundable.

Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, with the exception of defective products.
